David Jones

David is a member of the Investment Committee at Asterion Industrial Partners, the Madrid-based European infrastructure fund manager. He is also a member of the External Advisory Board of Shell Renewables & Energy Solutions. 

Between 2004 and 2017, David was CEO of the renewables business of Allianz Capital Partners, where he invested over €4bn in wind and solar park assets across Europe and the USA. Prior to that he led Shell’s wind energy business and held senior business development positions at El Paso, Sithe Energies and National Power.

David holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College London, is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
